Create an overhead allocator
Allow us to take overheads from our accounting system and allocate/share them out to the bulk wine in the winery at the end of the month.
Allow us to designate the overhead categories eg Wages, Electricity
Allow us to choose the tanks/wines that get allocated to. eg only white wines
Allow loading ratios eg 2:1 for reds to whites so some categories get more cost than others.3 votes -

Having a 'generate vessel' or import function would be really handy when you have loads of vessels to enter on setup
Be able to import from an excel or csv file format would be great

This is a great idea. We have already been looking into how to do this. Our thoughts so far would be to allow upload of an excel or comma delimited csv file.
We will definitely be getting on to this as soon as we find the time! -
have a full all vessels and empty all vessels function, change status on batch code etc. would make filling/emptying barrels easier

Have a wine status code per vessel to describe the status of wine eg Ferment, Juice ...
This would allow vessels to be searched by status and help keep info on where they are at in the winemaking process

Yes, this is a good idea, there are several similar user settings that we should remember around the system, so we are investigating ways to have this setting remembered and a few others as well eg you on personal ‘home page’.

I'd really like to have the 'by Source Analyses' option on Stock Item Composition
I use the source analysis to record my CAD numbers for the WSB. Making reports for PDO submissions would be easier if I had the above option. Especially if I do tirage as a vessel-to-pack job, as there is quite a delay between the tirage job and then submitting a disgorged wine to the PDO scheme years later!

Thanks for the idea. We will look at putting this into our signup and provisioning setup to allow more pre-filled in data.

Show phenological stage and a target pathogen for each spray on spray diary
The only missing and required information is the phenological stage (3 or 4 key points during the season) and a target pathogen for each spray. All of this can be fed into the actual operation form but doesn't appear on the spray diary.

Have Earliest Possible Harvest Date appear on Spray Diary reports
One of our challenges is to manage harvest dates when we are dealing with a range of ag chemicals with varying with-holding periods depending on destination market and whether ear-marked for nil or minimal residue programmes. I currently do this manually within a spreadsheet so we can quickly assess before we start to pick. Can see having this worked into vinsight and linked to the spray diary providing a useful tool for managing. The grower would have to manually set withholding periods for each product at the start of the season as they do seem to change year to year.… more
